Resolution of LCD mosaic screen

At present, the resolution of a single LCD mosaic screen is mainly 1920 * 1080 and 1366 * 768, which is the 16:9 widescreen ratio we usually talk about. The resolution of a single screen is mentioned above. In fact, the resolution of the LCD screen can be superimposed. For example, two LCD mosaic screens with a resolution of 1920 * 1080 will be superimposed into 1920 * (1080+1080) if they are hard spliced, and 1080 * (1920+1920) if they are horizontal spliced.
Because of the superimposition of LCD resolution, there will be 4K display on the market. Since the resolution can be superimposed, is it possible to achieve infinite resolution by infinite splicing? The answer is no. At present, based on the limitation of Windows system output, it can only support 16K resolution display at most.
But the LCD screen can achieve HD resolution does not mean it can output HD. It mainly depends on the resolution of the input signal, and the resolution of the signal input depends on the resolution of the original picture and the limitations of the hardware such as the graphics card and HDMI transmission support. Therefore, when we talk about high-definition picture display, we must first have a high-definition signal source, then have a graphics card supporting high-definition signal processing and a transmission line for high-definition signal transmission, and then add high-definition display to realize the true high-definition display.
In addition, it should be noted that the resolution and the ratio of screen width to height are not equal. Generally, the horizontal dot pitch and vertical dot pitch of screen pixels are the same, that is, the pixels are square, so the parameter ratio of resolution can be regarded as the ratio of screen width to height, for example, the ratio of panel screen with 1366 * 768 resolution is 16:9. However, the horizontal and vertical dot pitch of screen pixels of some products are different. That is to say, the pixels are rectangular. At this time, the resolution parameter cannot display the width-height ratio of the screen. For example, the product with a resolution of 1024 * 1024 does not contradict the product with a screen ratio of 16:9. 1024 * 1024 does not represent that the screen of the product is square.
